Rosie O’Donnell Facing 15 YEARS IN PRISON For What She Just Did To Take Down Trump

Yesterday, we reported that comedian Rosie O’Donnell tried to bribe GOP lawmakers on Tuesday night by offering them $2 million to shut down President Donald Trump’s tax reform bill. Though Rosie was cocky at the time that she would not get in trouble for this, she likely is not laughing now, as it’s been revealed that she is facing massive prison time as well as an enormous fine for her actions. The Daily Caller reported that it all started hours before the legislation passed, when Rosie tweeted:

When Rosie was informed that this would be breaking the law, as bribing lawmakers is a felony, she doubled down on her comments.

With these tweets, Rosie blatantly violated 18 U.S. Code § 201, which criminalizes the attempted bribery of federal officials by whoever “directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official … with intent to influence any official act.” The penalty for violating this law is severe, as Rosie could spend up to 15 years in jail, suffer a lifetime ban from elective office and pay up to a cool $12 million.

The statute demands a fine “not more than three times the monetary equivalent of the thing of value, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than fifteen years, or both, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”

In court, Rosie would likely try and argue that she was only joking and hide behind her mental illness as an excuse for her actions. However, prosecutors can then bring up the many deranged threats she has tweeted to Trump to show what a danger she is to society. Rosie has had a sick vendetta against Trump for over a decade, and it’s time to put an end to it for good!
