Mojo 12 Week Programme
Mojo 12 week programme runs 2 days per week – Wednesday 10am–1pm and Thursdays 10am–2:30pm. The next programme starts in September 2017.
The Mojo training project is divided into two weekly sessions that are run over twelve weeks. Day 1 of each week focuses on mental wellbeing and resilience building and Day 2 of each week focuses on access to services in the community (employment, education, support and physical fitness).
The sessions are facilitated by staff from various services working in Kildare.
Also, each participant will have a life coach assigned to them who will help develop an individualised plan that assesses personal issues, gauge education and work experience and, importantly, identify steps to take in order to reach agreed targets. The plans will also include a progression path as this programme is a stepping stone towards work, education and/or another, more permanent, service.
Criteria and Referral
The following are guidelines for selecting suitable participants for the Mojo project.
The men should be:
- in distress
- affected by employment issues.
- motivated to change so that they can improve their lives.
- 18 years or older .
- able to take personal responsibility, and agree to attend the full 12 week programme.

Mojo Kildare Evaluation
An evaluation report has recently been produced on Mojo Kildare. Click here to view.
My home used to be like my own prison, but now I’m getting out more. I’d just go ‘how are you doing – isn’t it a great day’ … whatever – no panic. It’s great that I’ve the confidence now to keep the head up.
